How to embed YouTube Videos on other sites

YouTube is an awesome video sharing website. If you can think it, theres probably a video for it. You can easily spend countless hours enjoying what the YouTube community has to share. You may want to share a fun video youve found with your friends. Most YouTube videos can be embedded on other sites.

Instructions

Things Youll Need:

• Computer
• Internet Browser
• Somewhere to share a video

1. Step 1

   Direct your web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox to http://www.youtube.com.

2. Step 2
   

   If you have a YouTube account, go ahead and log in. You can also use a Google Account login if you have one.

3. Step 3

   Navigate to a video you want to share.

4. Step 4
   

   On the right hand side of the video, is a URL and Embed option. Well be using the Embed option. The text in this window is HTML code that we need in order to put the video on another site.

5. Step 5

   Put your cursor in the text area, and it will highlight all the text. Copy this text by right-clicking and selecting Copy, or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-C.
   You can also click the widget icon next to Embed, which will give you additional options to how the video will display after you have embedded it.

6. Step 6

   Navigate to the website that youll be sharing this info. If its your own site or blog, make sure you paste the copied text into a window that either recognizes HTML, or a HTML specific window.

7. Step 7

   Save your work, and navigate to your site to make sure the video is displayed.

8. Step 8

   Enjoy sharing the fun YouTube video with your friends!

Company history reveals whether or not its mission is to be innovative or a follower of trends. Find out who is head of the company, whether it is a CEO or president, so you can learn his or her background in technology.

3. Step 3

   Search for video interviews with the company CEO on YouTube. The CEO knows more about the company than anyone, including any media publication. Some CEOs are the product designers themselves, whereas others worked their way up the corporate ladder without being part of product development teams. Its the CEOs job to know how the new product will change or improve a market and affect competition.

4. Step 4

   Investigate the patent or patent pending documentation of the product. By visiting the United States Patent and Trademark Office at http://www.uspto.gov, you can look up patent numbers and descriptions of the existing or proposed inventions. This information is useful if you want to compare a new product with existing similar products.

5. Step 5

   Find out if the technology is being developed at a university such as MIT. Look for blogs or research papers on the university website. Another source for information on technological development is the website of an association that oversees or offers input to a specific industry

In general, the machine seems very nice, very robust, high quality, and well put together. The only possible problem you might find is that at any one time, you can only have either the floppy drive attached. I found this a real pain during installation, but since then have never needed to use the floppy drive, so it hasnt been a problem. If you regularly need to use both CDs and floppys, I would advise getting an external drive to use with this machine.

Toshiba Satellite 3000One other thing that wasnt obvious to me at first sight is that to eject a SmartMedia card from the built in drive, you actually need to push it further in. Before realising this, I had resorted to using a pair of plyers to pull the card out of the drive!
